Shri Hardev Singh is the main promoter of this group. He is the Chairman cum Managing Director of the group of companies. He established Teesta Agro in the remote areas of Rajganj, Jalpaiguri, West Bengal transforming and bringing economic growth to the area.

He has promoted his companies mainly in remote areas with the intention to develop the area into prosperous centres.

He has been successful to the extent that the potential of this area was highlighted, and other business groups invested in the region bringing economic prosperity.

With the experience of five decades in the business, he has taken Teesta Agro through the good times and bad times to great heights of success.

With his vision and commitment, he had single-handedly set up an industrial empire and the present combined net worth of his group of companies is to the tune of Rs. 200 crores. His group of companies apart from fertilizer, Chemicals have also diversified interests in Diary, Jute, and Hospitality.

With the success of Teesta Agro Shri Hardev Singh has contributed unselfishly large amounts of grants to the needy, weak, and vulnerable section of people in and around the Jalpaiguri area.

He is part of trust called Guru Nanak Mission Medical & Educational Trust Dhahan Kaleran, Shaheed Bhagat Singh Nagar (Nawanshahr), Punjab for the last two decades. He has donated generously to this trust to provide the latest health & educational facilities to the underprivileged rural population of this area specially to uplift the status of the girl child.

A battery of competent professionals constitutes the Board of Directors to oversee the day to day operations of his group of Companies as well as to chalk out plans for expansion into new business areas/avenues.
